We’re looking for a reliable, hands-on Driver / Operations Assistant to support a fast-moving operational environment. This is a varied role where no two days are the same, combining short-distance driving with practical project and warehouse-style support.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out short-distance driving duties using company vans
* Support operational and project-based work across different locations
* Load and unload vans safely and efficiently
* Assist with deliveries, collections, and on-site tasks
* Handle heavy lifting and physical work as required
* Work independently and use initiative to solve problems on the go
* Adapt quickly to changing priorities and daily requirements
Requirements
* Previous experience driving vans is essential
* Must be over 21 years old (insurance requirement)
* Full UK driving licence with a good driving record
* Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling/heavy lifting
* Quick learner with a proactive attitude
* Able to think and act independently
* Reliable, punctual, and flexible
About the Role
* Approximately 20% driving duties
* Majority of the role involves operational support and project work
* Fast-paced, hands-on environment
* Short Term Temp work or could lead to perm for the right candidate
