Job Overview

My client is seeking a reliable and motivated Driver's Mate to join our logistics team. This role involves supporting the driver in the safe and efficient delivery of goods. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and a keen interest in logistics and transportation.

Duties

* Assist the driver in preparing the vehicle

* Execute any special requests from customers

* Check all deliveries once they have been dropped at the final destination

* Support the driver in navigating routes and adhering to delivery schedules

* Assist the driver in checking the run sheets and picking orders

* Make customers aware of any stock shortages

* Ensure health and safety procedures are adhered to

Qualifications

* Good safety practices and being presentable at all times

* Good communication skills

* Excellent customer service skills

* Previous experience in the same role
