Early Career Teacher (ECT) Primary School – London Borough of Waltham Forest Start Date: September 2026 Contract: Full-time, Permanent Salary:£36,745 per annum (M1 – Outer London, in line with NASUWT pay scale) We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-established three-form entry primary school in the London Borough of Waltham Forest, for a passionate and motivated Early Career Teacher (ECT) to join their team from September 2026 on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an ECT to begin their teaching career in a supportive and collaborative school environment with strong leadership and a clear commitment to staff development. The role: The successful candidate will take responsibility for a class within Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2, delivering engaging and well-structured lessons that support pupils’ academic progress and personal development. As part of a three-form entry school, you will benefit from shared planning, strong year group support, and opportunities to collaborate with experienced colleagues. The school offers a structured ECT induction programme, including mentoring from experienced teachers and ongoing professional development to help you build confidence and develop your classroom practice.
