Early Years Practitioner - Permanent Role

Location: Highbridge, Somerset
Start: ASAP
Hours: 08:15 - 15:15, Monday to Friday
Pay: £14.96 - £16.30 per hour (Dependant on Pay Type)

Prospero Teaching is seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Years Practitioner to join a warm and nurturing primary school, working as part of their Early Years team on a Long Term/Permanent basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a caring and committed practitioner who is enthusiastic about supporting children in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and helping them build a strong foundation for lifelong learning.

The Role

Supporting children across Nursery/Reception within the school's Early Years setting
Assisting with planning and delivering engaging, play-based learning activities
Providing high-quality care in line with EYFS requirements
Working collaboratively with the classroom teacher and wider EYFS team
Offering 1:1 or group support where required
Ensuring a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment for all children

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

Level 3 qualification in Early Years/Childcare (or equivalent) - essential
Paediatric First Aid certificate - essential
Experience working within an Early Years environment
A nurturing, patient, and proactive approach
An enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
Right to work in the UK
