Early Years Practitioner - Permanent Role Location: Highbridge, Somerset Start: ASAP Hours: 08:15 - 15:15, Monday to Friday Pay: £14.96 - £16.30 per hour (Dependant on Pay Type) Prospero Teaching is seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Years Practitioner to join a warm and nurturing primary school, working as part of their Early Years team on a Long Term/Permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for a caring and committed practitioner who is enthusiastic about supporting children in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and helping them build a strong foundation for lifelong learning. The Role Supporting children across Nursery/Reception within the school's Early Years setting Assisting with planning and delivering engaging, play-based learning activities Providing high-quality care in line with EYFS requirements Working collaboratively with the classroom teacher and wider EYFS team Offering 1:1 or group support where required Ensuring a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment for all children Requirements To be considered for this role, you must have: Level 3 qualification in Early Years/Childcare (or equivalent) - essential Paediatric First Aid certificate - essential Experience working within an Early Years environment A nurturing, patient, and proactive approach An enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply) Right to work in the UK What the School Offers A supportive and welcoming Early Years team Ongoing professional development opportunities A well-resourced Early Years learning environment A long-term, stable, and rewarding role within a lovely primary school How to Apply If you're passionate about Early Years education and ready for a permanent role within a fantastic primary school, we'd love to hear from you.
