Trial the School: Ensure the school culture and EYFS ethos align with your long-term goals before committing to a full year.

The Role: Inspiring Early Learners

We need "ready-to-go" educators who understand that EYFS is the foundation of a child's education. You will lead small group activities, maintain high-quality care, and ensure the setting meets all staff-to-child ratios.

We are looking for an EYFS specialist who is:

Qualified: Must hold a recognised EYFS qualification (L2/3 CACHE or NVQ).

Knowledgeable: Deeply familiar with the seven areas of learning and the Development Matters framework.

Observational: Skilled at capturing "wow moments" for learning journals (e.g., Tapestry or SeeSaw) to track progress.

Creative: Capable of turning a cardboard box into a rocket ship and following a child's lead in child-initiated play.

Our Curriculum & Setting

At Blackpool Academy, we blend play with purposeful learning. You will be actively involved in:

The Prime Areas: Prioritising Communication & Language, PSED, and Physical Development through "In the Moment" planning.

Talk for Writing: Using imitation and story mapping to help children "learn" stories.

Phonics: Supporting daily systematic synthetic phonics (SSP) and "keep-up" sessions.

Maths Mastery: Focusing on a deep understanding of numbers 0-10 through concrete resources and play.

Continuous Provision: Organising high-quality, open-ended "exciting hooks" to engage learners across the indoor and outdoor environments.

Why Partner with Tradewind?
