EC&I Work Pack Engineer Salary: £65,000 + £5,000 Car Allowance Location: Carrington, Manchester (Site Based) Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday (8 hour days) Sector: Energy / Infrastructure Employment Type: Permanent Description We are currently recruiting for an experienced EC&I Work Pack Engineer to support the delivery of a major Liquid Air Energy Storage (LAES) project based full time on site in Carrington, Manchester. In this role, you will be responsible for producing EC&I Installation Work Packs (IWPs) from client-issued Construction Work Packs (CWPs), ensuring site teams have the technical information required to safely and efficiently execute installation activities. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the successful delivery of a large-scale energy infrastructure project. Key Responsibilities Develop EC&I Installation Work Packs (IWPs) from client-issued Construction Work Packs (CWPs) Ensure work packs include all necessary drawings, specifications, procedures, and materials required for execution Ensure compliance with technical, safety, and regulatory standards Work closely with project managers, construction managers, and engineering teams to plan EC&I installation activities Coordinate with procurement and materials teams to ensure resources are available ahead of execution Identify potential risks and issues and implement mitigation strategies to avoid delays Communicate with project stakeholders regarding project timelines, scope, and deliverables Provide progress updates and escalate issues to the Project Manager where necessary Attend project and client meetings as required Experience & Qualifications Minimum 5 years’ experience in EC&I engineering, construction, or maintenance At least 2 years’ experience producing work packs HND/HNC in an EC&I discipline or equivalent industry experience/apprenticeship Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively within a large multi-disciplinary project team Proficiency with MS Office and Navisworks 2024 Self-motivated with the ability to deliver work to demanding project deadlines Get in touch now If you're seeking a new opportunity and think you have the relevant skills and experience our client is looking for, then this could be the opportunity for you, so apply now or contact Stuart Cooper via LinkedIn.
