Thorn Baker Construction is looking for an ECITB Firewatcher in Banbury. What’s in it for you? Good rate of pay Ongoing work Good working environment with a reputable client The role: Act as a Firewatcher on site, monitoring all hot works and ensuring work is carried out safely at all times Maintain a constant watch for fire hazards during and after hot works operations Ensure all safety procedures, permits, and site rules are followed Work in accordance with risk assessments and carry out your own where required Communicate effectively with site management and operatives to maintain a safe working environment Keep work areas clear of hazards and report any issues immediately Support site teams with general duties when required by the site agent or manager About you: Must hold a valid ECITB Firewatcher qualification/card Must be able to provide two relevant commercial references Strong awareness of health and safety on site Positive attitude and strong work ethic Reliable, vigilant, and able to always follow site procedures For further information, please call Emma Burns on (phone number removed) or email .
