Job Description
Lead and promote a positive Health, Safety & Environmental culture through coaching, engagement, and visible support across the site.
Manage EHS systems, policies and procedures to ensure compliance with UK legislation and recognized industry standards.
Carry out audits, workplace inspections and risk assessments, ensuring corrective actions are implemented and monitored.
Investigate accidents, incidents and near misses, identifying root causes and introducing effective preventative measures.
Deliver Health & Safety training, monitor performance metrics, and maintain documentation to support internal, external and regulatory audits.EHS Specialist
Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications
Previous experience in a Health, Safety & Environmental role within a manufacturing, engineering or industrial environment.
NEBOSH General Certificate as a minimum, with higher-level Health & Safety qualifications advantageous.
Strong knowledge of UK Health & Safety legislation, ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 management systems, and compliance requirements.
Experience carrying out audits, incident investigations, contractor management and risk assessments within a production environment.
