Apply NowMarket 36 Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Panel Builder / Panel Wirer to join our client's team. The role involves building, wiring and testing LV distribution and MCCB panels to relevant electrical standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Build and test LV distribution and MCCB panels to BS EN 61439 and BS 7671.
* Read and work from electrical CAD drawings and wiring diagrams.
* Select and check components before each build.
* Build wiring looms using cable crimping tools.
* Carry out continuity, insulation resistance and functional testing.
* Fault find and rectify wiring and assembly issues.
About You
* Strong previous experience in LV panel building / panel wiring.
* Good understanding of electrical systems and components.
* Able to read electrical drawings and wiring diagrams.
* Strong attention to detail.
* Previous LV panel testing experience.
* 18th Edition knowledge is desirable.
* Good fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
* Computer literate.
Working Hours & Salary
* Monday – Thursday: 7:25am – 4:30pm
* Friday: 7:30am – 1:10pm
* £12.71 - £13.31 per hour DOE
