Apply NowWe’re looking for an Electrical Assembler to join an established manufacturing business in Glossop.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone with previous electrical assembly or electronics manufacturing experience, working with components, wiring and assemblies in a production environment.
What’s on offer?
* £14.00 per hour
* Monday – Thursday | 8:30am – 4:30pm
* Friday | 8:30am – 2:00pm
What will you be doing as an Electrical Assembler?
* Assembling electrical and electronic components
* Wiring components and completing electrical connections
* Following drawings, diagrams and assembly instructions
* Fitting components into finished assemblies
* Using hand tools and basic assembly equipment
* Carrying out visual inspections and basic quality checks
* Checking completed assemblies against required specifications
* Identifying and reporting assembly or component issues
* Maintaining accurate production standards
* Keeping the work area clean, organised and safe
What will you need?
* Previous experience in electrical assembly, electronic assembly or a similar production role
* Confidence working with small electrical/electronic components and wiring
* Ability to follow drawings, diagrams and work instructions
* Good attention to detail and a quality-focused approach
* Comfortable using hand tools within a manufacturing environment
