Job Title: Electrical Associate Director Location: Glasgow Job Type: Permanent Sector: Building Services Salary: £80,000 - £90,000 Start Date: Flexible Overview An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Electrical Associate Director to join a Building Services team in Glasgow, with a strong focus on data centre projects. This is a senior leadership role combining technical excellence, team management and strategic project oversight. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering complex, high-value data centre schemes while supporting business growth and team development. Key Responsibilities Lead the electrical design and delivery of data centre projects Provide strategic technical direction across multiple schemes Oversee electrical design quality, standards and compliance Manage and mentor senior and junior engineers Support project planning, resource management and programme delivery Engage with clients and stakeholders at a senior level Contribute to business development and work-winning activities Ensure delivery aligns with commercial and operational objectives Requirements Extensive experience in electrical building services design Proven experience delivering data centre projects Experience operating at the Associate or Associate Director level (or ready to step up) Strong leadership and team management capability Excellent client-facing and stakeholder engagement skills Strong commercial awareness Candidate Profile You will be a technically accomplished electrical engineer with experience delivering complex data centre environments and leading high-performing teams.
