Electrical Controls & Instrumentation Engineer

Electrical Controls & Instrumentation Engineer required to support delivery of control system design and integration across engineering projects.

* PLC Logic/Allan Bradley

* HMI / SCADA systems

* AutoCAD Electrical

* MS Visio

* Electrical design & schematics

* Industrial communications / networks

Key Responsibilities

* Design and develop electrical control systems

* Produce technical documentation (FDS, schematics, load schedules, control philosophies)

* Support project delivery from proposal to commissioning

* Prepare RFQs and review supplier quotations

* Manage electrical/control aspects of projects and liaise with suppliers

* Support FAT testing and system integration

* Troubleshoot control systems and network issues

* Provide technical support to engineers and clients

Requirements

* HNC/HND in Electrical Engineering (or similar)

* Experience with electrical control systems and integration

* Familiarity with industry standards (e.g. IEE/IEC – desirable)
