Electrical Design Engineer

Our client is currently seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join their team on a contract basis

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated engineer with strong 2D and 3D design experience to work within a low-volume, high-value manufacturing environment, supporting the design and development of specialist engineering products.

Key Responsibilities

* Generate and maintain detailed 2D wiring layouts

* Create and update accurate 3D models and assemblies

* Extract, manage, and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs)

* Ensure designs are optimised for assembly and installation

* Maintain effective data control and engineering documentation

* Support engineering projects through the full design lifecycle

Essential Requirements

* Proven experience in an Electrical Design Engineer role

* Strong knowledge of 2D design software

* Experience using SolidWorks (2D and 3D)

Contract Details

* Duration: 3 Months+

* Pay Rate: £30.00 per hour (PAYE)

* Location: Fareham

* Working Hours: Monday to Friday (Early finish every Friday)
