Electrical Design Engineer

£30,000 - £40,000 + £4k Car Allowance, 10% Pension, Hybrid Working

Electrical Design Engineer - The Role:

Design electrical and control systems in line with industry standards
Produce schematics, panel drawings, cable diagrams, and single line diagrams
Support electrical power distribution and control system architecture
Create and maintain EC&I documentation (P&IDs, cable schedules, instrument schedules)
Review and update engineering drawings and technical documentation
Apply EMC best practices (cable segregation, shielding, grounding)
Carry out site surveys and identify system improvements
Support commissioning, testing, and validation activities
Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams
Assist with tenders and technical proposals

Electrical Design Engineer - The Person:

1 year+ experience in a similar role
AutoCAD Electrical (or similar) experience, training available
Experience producing electrical drawings and documentation
Understanding of EC&I documentation
