Electrical Design Engineer

Leading systems integrator based in the Lincolnshire area seeking an Electrical Design Engineer for various projects with an industry base ranging from Power Generation to Food Industry and Process Control. A well-established company with a number of long-term contracts. Electrical Design Engineer £35-42k + Pension, Cash Benefit, 20 days holiday + 8 Bank Holidays - Additional days after 5 years service Lincolnshire Ref: 23603 Electrical Design Engineer - The Role: Designing electrical diagrams including wiring schematics and General Arrangement drawings for LV Control Panels and Motor Control Centres LV design experience up to 400V AC Producing designs using AutoCAD Electrical (2D) Managing projects from initial concept through to production Creating detailed Bills of Materials with strong knowledge of electrical components Producing Operation & Maintenance manuals Project management, client liaison, and shop-floor interaction Working on bespoke, one-off control panel projects across various applications Supporting manufacturing processes within a well-established LV control panel environment Electrical Design Engineer - The Person: Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD Electrical Experience within an LV control systems environment (ideally within water/wastewater industries) NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) qualification ECS / JIB Card (preferred but not essential) 18th Edition qualification (preferred but not essential) Understanding of LV control panel design and manufacturing processes High attention to detail with the ability to work to consistently high standards Good timekeeping and organisational skills Able to work independently with minimal internal training Professional communicator with the ability to liaise with clients and internal teams Located in Lincolnshire, this role would be commutable from Newark-on-Trent, Bourne, Grantham & Melton Mowbray.
