Electrical Engineer
Applicants must hold an EU passport A leading international engineering and construction contractor is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join a major data centre project in Frankfurt. Experience in data centres is advantageous, though candidates from other high-tech or regulated sectors will also be considered. Responsibilities • Ensure timely and accurate reporting to support project delivery and key milestones • Review design and IFC drawings/specifications to fully understand project scope • Coordinate with BIM teams to develop installation drawings in line with design and programme requirements • Support site teams in maintaining quality standards and compliance with all relevant codes and specifications • Assess subcontractor and supplier tenders for technical compliance with design intent • Align engineering activities with the overall project schedule to avoid delays • Manage technical submittals and approval processes • Ensure all electrical installations are delivered in line with project specifications and QA requirements • Coordinate subcontractors and maintain strong information flow to ensure progress aligns with the programme • Identify and implement improved engineering practices to enhance project delivery • Assist in the preparation of subcontract and supplier packages in collaboration with the commercial team Requirements • Experience in an Electrical Engineer role within construction or engineering projects • Data centre or mission-critical experience is advantageous but not essential • Strong organisational and project planning skills • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and decision-making abilities • Proficiency in Navisworks and engineering-related database systems • Familiarity with Primavera or similar planning software and CAD/BIM processes • Ability to work on-site in Paris (EU work eligibility required) What’s On Offer • Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package • Support with travel, accommodation, healthcare, pension, and bonus • Opportunity to work on a flagship data centre project with leading industry professionals • Dynamic, collaborative, and innovative working environment • Clear career progression and professional development opportunities If this opportunity is of interest, please apply with your CV outlining your relevant experience
