Multi-Skilled Engineer – Days Location: Bishopsgate, London Salary: £45,000 Call Out: 1 in 4 A well-established Facilities Management organisation is currently looking to recruit an experienced Multi-Skilled Engineer to join the on-site engineering team at a prestigious commercial building in Bishopsgate, London. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and reliable engineer who takes pride in their work and is looking to progress their career within a professional facilities management environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering both planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across the building. The role requires strong electrical knowledge alongside mechanical and general building services experience to ensure the safe and efficient operation of site systems. Benefits Salary of £45,000 22 days annual leave Annual bonus Pension plan Career progression opportunities Key Responsibilities Carry out maintenance, operation and repair of HVAC, electrical, mechanical, fire safety and water treatment systems across the site. Ensure all planned preventative maintenance and reactive tasks are completed within contract service level agreements. Manage risk assessments, permits to work and ensure compliance with health and safety procedures. Work closely with clients, site teams and subcontractors to ensure high service delivery standards. Use CAFM systems to manage and complete maintenance tasks (knowledge of Vantify would be beneficial). Provide technical support and assist with quotations for additional or remedial works. Demonstrate a flexible and proactive approach, supporting tasks across multiple disciplines when required. Requirements Time-served electrical engineer with relevant qualifications such as City & Guilds and BS 7671. HVAP or LVAP authorisation would be advantageous. Experience working with mechanical systems, water treatment and L8 ACOP compliance. Strong understanding of health and safety procedures, with IOSH Managing Safely desirable. Experience using CAFM systems and mobile maintenance platforms. Reliable, professional and confident with strong communication and problem-solving skills
