Electrical Engineer - Commercial (PPM & Testing) Locations: Chelmsford / Bishop's Stortford / Colchester We are currently seeking fully qualified Electrical Engineers to support ongoing PPM, testing, and remedial works across commercial sites. Salary & Benefits £42,000 - £45,000 per annum O/T paid after 50+ hours per week 1.25x Monday-Friday 1.5x weekends 23 days holiday + 8 bank holidays Birthday extra day off Company van + Fuel card provided All equipment supplied (Megger tester, SDS & combi drills, etc. - engineers to supply own hand tools) Working Hours 45 hours per week Travel to site may be 1-1.5 hours First 30 minutes travel to site and 30 minutes return are unpaid Key Responsibilities Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) Commercial EICR testing Completion of remedial works Working on 3-phase installations Ensuring all works comply with current regulations and standards Essential Requirements Fully Qualified Electrical Engineer NVQ Level 3 2391 Inspection & Testing AM2 18th Edition Proven experience in commercial environments Desirable (Not Essential) Railway experience PTS (Personal Trackside Safety) certification If you are an experienced Electrical Engineer looking for a stable role with excellent benefits and overtime opportunities, we would love to hear from you.
