Electrical Engineering Business Unit Lead

This is a one-off opportunity to join Dornan in a senior leadership role. As our Electrical Business Unit Lead, you will play a pivotal part in shaping the delivery of multiple large‑scale datacentre projects across Europe. You will guide engineering teams through every project phase—from tender and pre‑construction to installation and commissioning—ensuring consistency, excellence, and innovation at every step. This role offers exceptional scope: strategic influence, technical depth, cross‑project oversight, and the chance to help steer how Dornan delivers some of the most advanced facilities in Europe. Key Responsibilities In this senior position, you will lead and coordinate engineering activity across a diverse portfolio of European datacentre projects, acting as the central link between design, engineering, BIM, supply chain partners and on‑site delivery teams. You will support project teams across Europe, embedding consistent engineering standards, driving continuous improvement, and using performance tools such as Power BI to monitor quality and progress. You will guide technical decision‑making, oversee design assurance, and support tendering, value engineering and procurement to ensure safe, sustainable and cost‑effective outcomes. You will play an active role in securing smooth commissioning and handover by coordinating closely with design teams, suppliers and operations.
