Are you an experienced Electrical Fitter looking for your next contract opportunity?
We're recruiting on behalf of an innovative aerospace technology business that designs and manufactures cutting-edge telecommunications equipment looking to bring in an experienced Electrical Fitter on an initial short-term contract starting in late November.
This is an excellent opportunity to join an exciting and growing start-up environment where your skills will have a direct impact on the development of specialist products. There is also the potential for the contract to be extended as additional projects come online.
What You'll Be Doing
As an Electrical Fitter, you'll be responsible for:
Soldering and wiring of electrical and electronic assemblies
Building and wiring electrical cabinets, enclosures and test equipment
Cable assembly, routing, termination and panel wiring
Working from engineering drawings, schematics and build instructions
Supporting the assembly of high-quality aerospace communication productsWhat We're Looking For
To be successful in this role, you should ideally have:
Previous experience as an Electrical Fitter, Panel Wirer, Electrical Technician or similar
Strong cable assembly, wiring and termination experience
The ability to read and work from electrical drawings and instructions independently
Knowledge of control panel wiring and electrical assembly techniques
Understanding of EMC (Electromagnetic Compatibility) principles and methods for reducing electrical interference
17th or 18th Edition qualification (desirable)What's In It For You?
£20-£23 per hour
IR35 Exempt contract
Monday to Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm
Friendly, growing start-up environment
Potential contract extension beyond the initial term
