As an Electrical Assessor, you'll manage a caseload of apprentices, supporting them through their apprenticeship journey with regular site visits, coaching, and assessments. You'll work closely with both learners and employers to ensure progress, track development, and guide apprentices through to End Point Assessment.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced and organised electrical professional who is passionate about developing others. You must hold an NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent), 18th Edition, and AM2. An assessor qualification (A1/CAVA) is highly desirable, though training can be provided. You'll be confident working independently, managing your own caseload, and building strong relationships with both apprentices and employers. Strong communication skills, organisation, and a supportive coaching approach are key.

The role:
*Manage a caseload of apprentices, carrying out workplace assessments and reviews.
*Support, coach, and mentor apprentices through to End Point Assessment.
*Conduct regular progress reviews with apprentices and employers.
*Track off-the-job training and ensure compliance with apprenticeship standards.
*Work flexibly across sites and remotely using e-portfolio systems and digital tools.

The person:
*Experience within the Electrical industry.
*NVQ Level 3 qualification (or equivalent), 18th Edition, and AM2.
*Assessor award (A1/CAVA) desirable or willingness to work towards.
*Experience working with apprentices or in a training environment (desirable).
*Strong organisational and communication skills.
