Working within the Engineering and Built Environment team, you will deliver high-quality teaching, learning and assessment across Electrical Installation programmes, helping learners develop the skills and knowledge needed for the industry.
You will:
* Teach Electrical Installation across Levels 1–3, with the potential to contribute to T Level provision.
* Plan and deliver engaging lessons and practical learning activities that connect theory with industry practice.
* Use your industry knowledge to make the curriculum relevant to current workplace expectations and career opportunities.
* Assess learners’ work, provide constructive feedback and monitor their progress and achievement.
* Prepare and maintain schemes of work, lesson plans, learning resources and assessment materials.
* Support learners with different needs and abilities, helping them build confidence and make progress.
* Work with colleagues to embed Maths and English within the vocational curriculum.
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Electrical Installation and developments within the industry.
* Develop industry links and maintain professional practice within your specialist area.
* Contribute to quality assurance, internal verification, standardisation and course reviews.
* Support student recruitment activities, open evenings and other College events.
* Contribute to the development of Electrical Installation provision and new curriculum initiatives
