Electrical Installation Lecturer

Job Title: Lecturer – Electrical Installation Location: Waltham Forest, London Contract: Permanent Hours: Full Time – 36 hours per week (approx. 23 contact hours) Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience A well-established Further Education provider in Waltham Forest is looking to appoint a Lecturer in Electrical Installation on a full-time, permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced electrical professional to move into teaching or for an existing lecturer to join a supportive and well-equipped department. The role will involve delivering both practical workshop sessions and classroom-based teaching, helping learners develop the skills and knowledge required to succeed in the electrical industry. Key Responsibilities * Deliver engaging and high-quality teaching in Electrical Installation. * Support learners in developing practical skills within a workshop environment. * Plan lessons, assess student progress, and provide constructive feedback. * Maintain accurate records of student achievement and progress. * Ensure high standards of health and safety are maintained in all practical sessions. Requirements * Level 3 qualification in Electrical Installation (or equivalent). * Ideally hold the 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification. * Inspection & Testing qualification desirable. * ECS Gold Card highly desirable. * Strong industry experience in electrical installation. * Good communication and organisational skills. A teaching qualification is not essential, as teacher training and support can be provided for the right candidate looking to transition from industry into education.
