Mobile Electrical Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Mobile Electrical Engineer to join our growing facilities maintenance team, covering a portfolio of commercial properties throughout Surrey.

* Basic salary: £40,000 – £42,000+ depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

* Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on electrical systems and equipment

* Diagnose and repair electrical faults across commercial buildings

* Conduct reactive maintenance and emergency call-outs when required

* Complete electrical testing, inspection, and minor installation works

* Ensure all work is completed in accordance with current regulations and health & safety standards

* Accurately complete service reports and maintenance documentation

* Build and maintain positive relationships with clients and site stakeholders

Requirements

* Recognised electrical qualification (City & Guilds, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)

* 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification

* Experience within commercial building maintenance or facilities management

* Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills

* Full UK driving licence

* Ability to work independently and manage a mobile workload effectively

Desirable

* 2391 Inspection & Testing qualification (or equivalent)

* Experience working within FM, healthcare, education, retail, or office environments

* Knowledge of building services and mechanical systems
