Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Questech Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to work on a contract basis at a busy food manufacturing facility in Bristol. The Hours Monday - Friday 3 Shift (6-2/ 2-10 /10-6) Regular Overtime Is avaialble The Pay £34 per hour The Role You will be responsible for maintaining and improving electrical systems and equipment to ensure maximum uptime and compliance within a fast-paced food production environment. Key Responsibilities * Electrical fault finding, diagnostics, and breakdown repair on production machinery * Planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance * Working on conveyors, packaging lines, motors, drives, sensors, and PLC-controlled equipment * Ensuring all work complies with health & safety and food industry standards * Supporting continuous improvement and minimising downtime Requirements * Time-served Electrical Engineer or equivalent qualification * Strong electrical maintenance experience within food, FMCG, or manufacturing environments * Ability to fault find under pressure in a fast-moving production setting * Knowledge of PLCs (fault finding level preferred) * Flexible, reliable, and able to work independently on contract assignments What’s on Offer * Competitive contract rate * Ongoing contract potential * Opportunity to work with a well-known food manufacturer * Agency support throughout the contract To apply: Please submit your most up to date CV or contact Simon for more information
