Electrical Shift engineers needed - 48k to 50k - Maintenance

Job Title: Shift Engineer (Electrical or Mechanical) Location: Central London Salary: £48,000 – £50,000 + Shift Allowance & Benefits Overview An established facilities management provider is seeking a qualified Electrical or Mechanical Shift Engineer to join a high-profile commercial site in Central London. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled engineer looking to work within a professional, well-structured building services environment. Key Responsibilities Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on building services systems Maintain and fault-find on electrical or mechanical plant including HVAC, AHUs, FCUs, pumps, motors, switchgear, and associated systems Ensure all statutory compliance tasks are completed and recorded accurately Respond promptly to plant breakdowns and emergency call-outs Liaise with subcontractors and specialist service providers Ensure all work is completed in line with health & safety procedures Provide clear handover reports at shift changeRequirements Recognised Electrical or Mechanical qualification (City & Guilds, NVQ, or equivalent) Previous experience working within commercial building services maintenance Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills Experience operating within a critical or high-end commercial environment preferred Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a shift teamPackage Salary between £48,000 – £50,000 Overtime opportunities Pension scheme 20 days annual leave + bank holidays (shift pattern dependent) Ongoing training and career progressionThis role suits a reliable, technically strong engineer who thrives in a fast-paced Central London commercial environment and takes pride in delivering high standards of maintenance
