We are currently recruiting for an Electrical Shift Leader (HV) to join a leading building services provider on a high-profile site in Moorgate.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a strong electrical engineer with High Voltage (HV) experience to step into a leadership role within a modern, technically demanding environment.
The Role:
As Electrical Shift Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the electrical team and ensuring the safe and efficient operation of all building systems.
Key responsibilities include:
* Leading and supervising a team of shift engineers
* Carrying out PPM and reactive maintenance
* Operating and maintaining HV/LV systems
* Acting as Authorised Person (AP) for HV (or working towards it)
* Managing permits, isolations, and switching operations
* Supporting critical plant and ensuring maximum uptime
* Liaising with clients, contractors, and internal teams
* Ensuring compliance with all health & safety procedures
Shift Pattern:
* 4 on / 4 off
* Days only: 7:00am – 6:00pm
* 20 days shift holiday
Salary & Benefits:
* Up to £60,000 basic salary
* Significant overtime available

Requirements:
* Electrically qualified (City & Guilds / NVQ or equivalent)
* HV experience is essential (AP status highly desirable)
* Experience in a critical or commercial environment
* Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred
* Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
