Electrical Technician - 12 month FTC
What you'll be doing:
* Fabrication, installation, and documentation of electrical systems
* Working with single-phase, three-phase, low-voltage and extra low voltage electrical circuits
* Preparation and termination of electrical circuits
* Reading and interpreting technical drawings
* Troubleshooting electrical instrumentation and mechanical equipment and presenting technical solutions to address these issues
* Configuration of instrumentation
* Testing electrical systems incorporating PLCs, HMIs, VFDs and relays
* Commissioning of special build equipment, electrically and mechanically
* Maintaining the quality of all products, performing incoming and outgoing quality control tests, inspections, and repair of all plant and field equipment
* Electrical inspection and testing (EIC, EICR and PAT)
What we are looking for:
City and Guilds Level 3 in electrical installations or equivalent (mandatory)
18th Edition Wiring Regulations
Experience in industrial electrical works
Experience wiring and fault finding PLC controlled equipment
Desirable:
City and Guilds 2391 – Electrical testing and inspection
Passport to Safety or equivalent
