Electrical Test Engineer

Electrical Test Engineer Worcester £35,000 to £37,000 per annum The Opportunity: Service Service is recruiting for a growing engineering company in Worcester seeking a skilled Electrical Test Engineer. This role offers the chance to work on a variety of electrical and electromechanical systems, testing products before they are dispatched to customers. You’ll join a supportive and technically driven team, with the opportunity to contribute to continuous improvement and process development. Key Responsibilities: * Test a range of electrical products and systems, including single phase and 3-phase motor control and PLC systems * Test computer-based data acquisition systems and components using standard electrical test equipment * Read and interpret schematic circuits and wiring diagrams to understand product functionality * Write and maintain test procedures, reports, and documentation * Provide constructive feedback to Engineering and Production teams to support continuous improvement * Ensure all testing is completed safely and to the required standard About You: * Experience testing electrical and electromechanical systems, including 240V single-phase and 415V three-phase * Understanding of closed-loop control, solid-state and inverter-based control systems * Ability to read and interpret analogue and digital circuits * Methodical problem solver with strong attention to detail * Able to work independently and collaboratively across departments * Computer literate, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook What’s on Offer: * Competitive salary, dependent on experience * 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays * Flexitime scheme covering 37.5 hours per week, with early finish on Fridays * Company pension and life insurance schemes * Opportunity to work in a technically challenging, supportive environment with scope for professional development Please click “Apply Now” and a member of the Service Service team will be in touch to discuss your application in confidence
