Electrical Tester

Electrical Tester – Major Power Infrastructure Projects (North West) Tradestech Recruitment require an experienced Electrical Tester for long-term work across major power infrastructure projects in the North West. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled Electrical Tester to secure around 2 years’ worth of consistent work operating within high voltage substation environments on large-scale power projects. As an Electrical Tester, you will be working in and around substations, carrying out testing, inspection and commissioning duties within a high voltage environment. The role requires a confident and competent Electrical Tester who has previously worked on major power or energy infrastructure projects. We are specifically looking for an Electrical Tester with proven experience in large-scale power environments who understands the standards, safety procedures and technical demands of working within substations. Key Responsibilities: Electrical testing and inspection within HV environments Working on substations and associated infrastructure Ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations Supporting commissioning and fault finding activities Requirements: JIB Gold Card (essential) City & Guilds 2391 (essential) Proven experience as an Electrical Tester in HV / substation environments Previous work on large-scale power or infrastructure projects Strong understanding of testing procedures and safety protocols Location: North West (various sites) Duration: ~2 years Start: ASAP
