Electrician - Social Housing Repairs & Maintenance

£38,000 - £42,000 per annum | Permanent | Full Time | 40 Hours per Week

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrician to join a leading social housing repairs and maintenance contractor, covering domestic properties across the Waltham Forest area.

The Role

As an Electrician, you will be responsible for carrying out a variety of electrical repairs, testing, inspection, and installation works within occupied and void residential properties. Working as part of a dedicated maintenance team, you will play a key role in delivering a high-quality service to residents while ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with current regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Carrying out electrical repairs and fault finding
Completing electrical installation works
Undertaking EICR testing and inspections
Delivering planned and reactive maintenance
Ensuring compliance with current electrical regulations
Providing excellent customer service within residents' homes
Accurately recording completed works and compliance documentation

About You

The successful candidate will have previous experience working within a domestic or social housing environment and be confident working independently to diagnose faults and provide effective solutions.

Essential Qualifications & Experience

NVQ Level 3 in Electrotechnical Services (Electrical Installation - Buildings & Structures) or equivalent
Level 3 Certificate/Diploma in Electrotechnical Technology
18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671)
City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing (or equivalent)
ECS Gold Card
Proven experience carrying out domestic electrical repairs, testing, and installations
Full UK Driving Licence (held for a minimum of 12 months)
