Hours: 37 per week

Rate: £24.00 PAYE / £31.49 Umbrella (Inside IR35)
Role Overview
We are seeking a qualified Electrician to support a busy repairs and maintenance service, delivering high-quality electrical work across domestic properties. You will ensure all works are completed safely, efficiently, and in line with current regulations while providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out electrical installation, maintenance, testing, and repair work
* Diagnose faults and determine appropriate remedial action
* Ensure all work complies with current electrical and building regulations
* Complete repairs within required timescales and quality standards
* Communicate professionally with tenants and arrange follow-up visits where required
* Record all work accurately using PDA/mobile systems
* Participate in the out-of-hours call-out rota
* Maintain safe working practices and comply with health & safety legislation
* Use and maintain tools, equipment, and vehicles responsibly
* Support multi-trade working when required
* Ensure work areas are left clean and safe after completion
Requirements
* NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Installation
* City & Guilds 18th Edition
* City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing
* PAT Testing qualification (2377)
* Health & Safety qualification
* Strong understanding of electrical regulations and safe systems of work
Additional Information
* Temporary assignment due to short-term demand
* Must be confident working in occupied residential properties
* Strong customer service and communication skills essential
