Electro-Mechanical Workshop Assembler | Permanent Role | London E3

πŸ•’ Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm (1-hour lunch)
πŸ’· Salary: Β£30,000 per annum + monthly bonus + annual performance bonuses (earning potential around Β£35,000+)

We are currently seeking an experienced Electro-Mechanical Workshop Assembler to join a specialist engineering team based in East London. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled assembler with a strong mechanical and electrical background to work on high-quality, precision-built equipment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the complete assembly, testing, and quality checking of specialist products, ensuring they meet strict technical and performance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Assemble complex mechanical and electro-mechanical equipment from start to finish

Read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings

Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively

Carry out testing, adjustments, and inspections on completed builds

Complete production records, quality documents, and testing reports

Identify and report faults with components or assembly processes

Maintain a clean, organised, and safe workshop environment

Work closely with the wider production team to achieve targets

Support continuous improvement activities and process development

What We're Looking For:

Previous experience in mechanical, electrical, or electro-mechanical assembly

Ability to understand and work from engineering drawings and instructions

Experience using hand tools, power tools, and basic electrical test equipment

Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work

Good organisational skills with accurate documentation practices

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Desirable Experience:

Engineering qualification (Level 2/3 Mechanical, Electrical, or Manufacturing)

Engineering apprenticeship background

NVQ Level 2/3 in Engineering Manufacture or Performing Engineering Operations
