ELSA Teaching Assistant Haringey, N17 (commutable from Tottenham, Seven Sisters, Wood Green, Edmonton, Stamford Hill) £110-£125 per day (dependent on experience) Start Date: ASAP Contract: Part-time or Full-time, long-term temporary (3 or 5 days per week) Long Term Futures is seeking a highly experienced ELSA-trained Teaching Assistant to support a group of Year 4 pupils through a combination of 1:1 support and structured emotional literacy interventions in a welcoming Haringey primary school. This role is ideal for someone who is confident delivering ELSA programmes independently, with a strong understanding of supporting pupils with social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs. About the Role Working closely with the SENCo and pastoral team, your responsibilities will include: * Delivering ELSA interventions to small groups of Year 4 pupils * Providing targeted 1:1 emotional support where required * Planning and adapting sessions to meet pupils' individual emotional needs * Supporting pupils with emotional regulation, confidence and social skills * Creating a safe, nurturing environment where pupils feel supported * Monitoring progress and maintaining clear intervention records * Liaising with staff to ensure consistent approaches across the school This is a specialist role requiring someone who can confidently lead sessions and make a measurable impact on pupil wellbeing.
