Hexwired Recruitment is working with a leading technology company developing advanced KVM and IP-based connectivity products used in mission-critical environments worldwide.

We are seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to join a growing R&D team, working across the stack from Linux kernel and device drivers through to real-time multimedia streaming applications. This is a hybrid role within a highly collaborative engineering environment.

Key Responsibilities

* Develop embedded software in C / C++

* Work on Linux-based systems and drivers

* Support performance-critical and streaming applications

Required Experience

* Strong background in Embedded C development

* Good understanding of Linux systems programming

* Experience with multi-threaded applications

Desirable Experience

* HDMI / DisplayPort / USB protocols

* Video over IP or streaming systems

* Kernel or device driver development
