Employment Engagement Tutor - Full Time | Newcastle Monday to Friday | Long‑term role with potential to go permanent We are seeking a motivated and supportive Employment Engagement Tutor to join a dedicated team in Newcastle. This full‑time, Monday to Friday role is long‑term with the opportunity to transition into a permanent position for the right candidate. About the Role As an Employment Engagement Tutor, you will support learners in developing the skills, confidence, and knowledge they need to progress into employment, training, or further education. You will deliver engaging sessions, provide 1:1 guidance, and work closely with employers and local partners to create opportunities for learners. Key Responsibilities Deliver high‑quality employability‑focused sessions and workshops. Support learners with CV writing, interview preparation, and job‑search strategies. Provide 1:1 coaching to build confidence, motivation, and employment readiness. Maintain strong relationships with local employers to source opportunities. Track learner progress and maintain accurate, up‑to‑date records. Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure successful learner outcomes. Promote a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment. Requirements Experience in employability, tutoring, coaching, careers guidance, or similar roles. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to motivate and engage learners with varying needs and backgrounds. Organised, proactive, and able to manage a caseload effectively.
