Engineering Geologist Bristol £30,000 - £35,000 A well-established ground engineering consultancy in Bristol is looking to bring in an Engineering Geologist to support a growing pipeline of work across the South West. This is a great opportunity for someone with a few years' experience who enjoys a mix of site work and reporting, and wants to be part of a close-knit team. You'll be involved in a range of residential, commercial and infrastructure projects, gaining exposure to both geotechnical and geoenvironmental aspects. What you'll be doing Supervising ground investigations on site (trial pits, boreholes, logging) Soil and rock logging to current standards Collecting and managing samples for laboratory testing Assisting with factual and interpretative report writing Supporting geotechnical analysis and foundation recommendations Liaising with contractors and site teams Ensuring health & safety standards are maintained on site What they're looking for Degree in Geology, Engineering Geology or a related field Around 1-3 years' experience in a similar role Good understanding of ground investigation techniques Strong logging and report writing skills Full UK driving licence Keen to learn and develop technically What's on offer Competitive salary with regular reviews Strong training and development support Clear progression into senior roles Varied project work across the region Friendly and supportive team environment Company benefits package This role would suit an Engineering Geologist looking to build on their experience and develop within a consultancy that offers solid training and long-term progression
