The Role As an Engineering Geologist, you will be involved in both site and office-based work, supporting the delivery of ground investigation projects from planning through to reporting. Key responsibilities will include: Supervising and carrying out ground investigations Logging soil and rock samples to industry standards Coordinating with drilling contractors on site Collecting soil and groundwater samples for laboratory testing Preparing factual and interpretative reports Assisting with geotechnical analysis and assessments Ensuring works are carried out in accordance with health and safety proceduresRequirements Degree in Geology, Engineering Geology, Geotechnical Engineering, or a related discipline Around 1-3 years of relevant industry experience Experience supervising ground investigation works Strong report writing skills Full UK driving licenceBenefits Competitive salary (£30,000 - £35,000) Company pension scheme Generous annual leave Ongoing training and development Support towards chartership Opportunity to work on a wide range of projects Clear career progression within a growing consultancyThis is a great opportunity for an Engineering Geologist looking to develop their career within a multidisciplinary consultancy working on varied and technically interesting projects
