Engineering & Product Director- Clinical Software

Overview
A senior leadership role owning end‑to‑end product strategy, engineering delivery, and commercial outcomes for a UK and global healthcare software portfolio. You will drive product growth, lead global platform convergence, and embed AI as a core productivity and differentiation capability.
This role balances UK go‑to‑market leadership with ownership of a global healthcare platform, aligning regional products into a single, scalable solution.
Key Responsibilities for the Engineering & Product Director- Clinical Software:
* Own Product Management and Engineering end to end: vision, strategy, roadmap, architecture, delivery, and lifecycle
* Drive product growth through differentiated capabilities, faster time to value, and commercial execution
* Deliver high‑quality, mission‑critical, regulated software with clear accountability for outcomes
* Lead AI‑first transformation across products, platforms, and development practices, improving velocity, quality, and cost to serve
* Own and evolve UK clinical software products and lead the global portfolio
* Converge regional offerings into a scalable global platform while balancing local market needs
* Partner with Sales, Marketing, Services, and Support to accelerate go‑to‑market, implementations, renewals, and expansion
* Lead globally distributed teams with strong execution discipline and outcome‑based accountability- headcount of 90
Skills & Experience for the Engineering & Product Director- Clinical Software:
* Proven senior leadership ownership of Product and Engineering with full business accountability
* Strong commercial mindset with a track record of delivering growth in enterprise software
* Experience delivering large‑scale, regulated or mission‑critical platforms
* Demonstrated success leading AI‑enabled or technology‑led transformation
* Strong cross‑functional influence and stakeholder engagement skills
* Experience leading global, multi‑time‑zone teams, 60+ headcount
* Knowledge of UK clinical, healthcare software, or regulated software environments (preferred)
* Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or similar (or equivalent experience)
* OK with July/August start date
