We are working exclusively with our client to recruit a dynamic Engineering Manager who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a strong background in logistics, warehouse operations, and supply chain optimisation.
Summary of the role
As Engineering Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing engineering and operational performance, ensuring processes run efficiently, safely, and cost-effectively. You’ll be responsible for leading teams, improving systems, and maintaining strong supplier relationships to support seamless operations.
Key responsibilities
* Lead and develop engineering and operational teams to achieve performance targets
* Drive continuous improvement across logistics, warehouse, and supply chain processes
* Manage supplier relationships and negotiate effectively to deliver value
* Oversee materials management to ensure efficiency and availability
* Implement and optimise systems
* Ensure compliance with health & safety and operational standards
* Support strategic initiatives to improve productivity and reduce costs
About you
* Proven experience in an Engineering Manager or similar leadership role
* Strong background in logistics, warehouse, or supply chain operations
* Skilled in vendor negotiation and supplier management
* Experience using ERP systems (IFS preferred)
* A confident, personable leader who motivates and develops teams
* Results-driven with a proactive, hands-on approach
* Able to work both independently and collaboratively
Working Hours: Monday – Thursday: 8:00am – 4:45pm | Friday 08:00am - 3:;45pm (39hrs a week)
