The Supply Register is recruiting English Lecturers to support West Lancashire College on a flexible basis. This role is ideal for candidates with experience in GCSE or Functional Skills English.
The Role
As an English Lecturer, you will support learners to develop literacy skills and achieve their qualifications.
Key responsibilities include:
Delivering GCSE and/or Functional Skills English
Supporting reading, writing, and communication skills
Preparing learners for exams
Monitoring and tracking progress
Creating an inclusive learning environment
What We’re Looking For
Degree in English or related subject
Experience teaching English (GCSE/Functional Skills)
Teaching qualification (or willingness to obtain)
Strong communication skills
Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain)
