Working Days & Times: Monday - Thursday 8:30am - 4:30pm, Friday 9:00am - 5:00pm
Salary: £30,000 - £34,000

Description:
Our client is a specialist construction training centre committed to helping learners develop the skills, knowledge, and qualifications they need to succeed in the construction industry. They are looking for a passionate and experienced English Teacher to join their team and support learners in achieving both GCSE and Functional Skills English qualifications.

This is an exciting opportunity to make a real impact on learners' futures by delivering high-quality, engaging lessons and supporting students to reach their full potential.

Role Information:

As an English Teacher, you will:

Deliver engaging and effective GCSE and Functional Skills English lessons.
Assess learners' starting points and identify their development needs.
Plan and deliver tailored learning experiences for individual learners and groups.
Maintain accurate records, including Individual Learning Plans, learner registers, and assessment documentation.
Collaborate with colleagues to support learner retention, achievement, and progression.
Ensure assessments and documentation meet awarding body and organisational requirements.
Promote a safe and inclusive learning environment in line with safeguarding and health & safety policies.
Participate in team meetings, moderation, and continuous professional development. Essential Criteria:

Qualified English Teacher (Level 3 or above in English subject specialism).
Minimum 2 years' teaching or training experience.
Hold a PTTLS, AET, or equivalent teaching qualification.
Ability to deliver inspiring and engaging sessions tailored to learners' needs. Why Work for Our Client:
