A superb secondary school in the north of Manchester is eager to find a fantastic English Teacher able to provide high quality education to KS3 & KS4 students across both Language and Literature.

This is a full-time English Teacher position due to a long-term MAT leave in which the successful candidate will be required to plan and conduct lessons across English Literature and English Language for KS3 & KS4 students. The school are open to both ECTs and experienced teachers, with an impetus being placed on finding a Teacher passionate about student development and the ability to engage.

English Teacher – Role Information:

* Planning and conducting high quality KS3 & KS4 English learning experiences

* Teaching across English Literature and English Language

* Monitoring student progress and feeding back to relevant department lead

* Located in the Manchester area

* Paid £140 – £200 per day during term time

* September 2026 start – Monday to Friday role with usual school working hours

* Qualified Teacher Status – Secondary English

* Minimum 2:2 UK based degree

* Good or better prior teaching observations

* Comfortable teaching across both English Literature and English Language
