Responsibilities include:
As an English Teacher, you will teach English to KS3, KS4 and KS5 and play a crucial role in helping students develop their reading, writing, and analytical skills, preparing them for success in both their academic and personal lives.
You'll set a level of challenge within lessons for all abilities across all key stages as well as through the thriving extra-curricular activities already on offer.
You have:
Qualified teacher status (QTS)
Degree in English or another relevant subject
Successful experience teaching English to KS3-KS5
Strong understanding of literacy development (reading, writing and oracy)
A keen interest in reading and an understanding of the transformative power of literacy
ECTs and more experienced teachers are welcome to apply.
