EPOS Technician
Position
We are looking for a dynamic, conscientious, strong team player to add to our excellent engineering team based in Wellington, Somerset. Your duties will involve:
* Carry out site surveys to assess and plan installations
* Configuration of EPOS software, including entering products/prices
* Installation and testing of EPOS, payment terminals and CCTV systems
* On-site and remote training to new customers
* Diagnose and repair faults on site or remove/replace
* Provide remote support to existing customers
* Planned regular maintenance of on-site equipment
You will be required to present a positive company image. Provide a timely, polite and efficient service. Be flexible on working hours as start and finish times could vary dependant on workload. There will also be a requirement to take the support line during some evenings and weekends.
The ideal person will be
* Someone who has experience in a field based customer service engineering role, ideally in the EPOS industry and in particular working with ICR Touch
* Background knowledge in computer hardware (pc’s, IP networks and Wifi)
* PC literate
* Excellent planning and organisational skills
* Understands and responds to customer needs with a calm and confident nature
We would also consider applications from someone with an IT background/qualifications willing to train.
A company vehicle will be provided and you will need to possess a full UK driving licence.
This is a permanent, full-time position. We can offer a competitive salary once a probationary period is complete
