Estimator - Civils & Groundworks

Are you an experienced Construction Estimator with a background working on earthworks projects? Approach Personnel are proud to be partnered with an industry-leading, earthworks contractor, who are currently searching for an Estimator to join them on a permanent basis. As an Estimator, you will play a vital role in the commercial success the business, accurately calculating the budget for each project and negotiating with suppliers and gain quotes from subcontractors. What's in it for you? * Fantastic basic salary upto £75,000 (D.O.E) * Geneorus car allowance sum * Yearly bonus potential * Private medical care What are we looking for? * Prior experience as an Estimator within the earthworks industry * Excellent commercial knowledge and attention to detail * Strong communciation and negotiation skills * Full UK's driving license Key Responsibilities: * Identify scope of work, constraints, site conditions, and potential risks * Measure and calculate quantities of earth to be excavated, filled, hauled, compacted, or stockpiled. * Develop cost breakdowns of: labour, subcontractor costs, materials etc.. * Apply contingencies or risk pricing where needed * Compile and format final tender submissions. * Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits to gather additional insights IF THIS SOUNDS LIKE YOU, WHY NOT APPLY
