Estimator / Commercial Coordinator Groundworks & Reinforced Concrete Contractor Harrow – Projects Across London & Surrounding Areas We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client, a growing and well-established groundworks and reinforced concrete contractor. With a strong reputation and a busy tender pipeline they are looking to appoint an experienced Estimator / Commercial Coordinator to join their team. This is a hands-on, varied position suited to an individual with experience pricing groundworks and RC frame packages, who is also comfortable supporting wider commercial and office operations. The Role * Preparing detailed quantity take-offs from drawings and specifications * Pricing groundworks, basement packages, and reinforced concrete frames * Costing brickwork, blockwork, and associated structural elements * Issuing enquiries to suppliers and subcontractors * Analysing quotations and compiling competitive tender submissions * Following up on submitted tenders and liaising with clients * Assisting with commercial administration * Supporting general office operations where required The Ideal Candidate * Proven experience estimating groundworks and reinforced concrete packages * Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications * Good understanding of construction costs and the tendering process * Strong Excel and IT skills * Well organised and capable of managing multiple tenders simultaneously * Confident communicator with a professional approach What’s on Offer * Competitive salary £50,000 - £65000 per year, depending on experience) * Long-term opportunity with a growing contractor * Exposure to the full project lifecycle * Clear scope for career progression
