Estimator Location: South Wales Position: Full time, permanent   Salary: Starting at £45,000 – Negotiable Package DOE Autograph Recruitment is delighted to partner with a leading specialist, engineering business operating across the UK on major infrastructure, structural steel, and construction works. Our Client is a forward-thinking, growing business with a great reputation, winning them high-profile and complex projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional who enjoys analysing project requirements, working with technical drawings, and contributing to competitive tender submissions. Key Responsibilities: Interpret technical drawings, specifications, and project documentation. Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQs), pricing models, and detailed tender submissions. Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors, analyse quotations, and support overall tender strategy. Assist with value engineering initiatives and risk reviews to ensure commercially sound proposals. Collaborate with both technical and commercial teams throughout the estimating process. What We’re Looking For Strong analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail. Previous estimating experience (ideally within steel, construction, or civil engineering). Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings. Clear communicator who can work effectively across technical and commercial teams.
