Estimator – Flat & Pitched Roofing 📍 Loughton, Essex 💰 Up to £60,000 (depending on experience) + package A well-established roofing contractor based in Loughton, Essex is seeking an experienced Estimator to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in flat and pitched roofing to play a key role in securing and delivering a varied pipeline of projects. The Role You will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for roofing projects across commercial and residential sectors. Key Responsibilities * Preparing detailed cost estimates and tender submissions for flat and pitched roofing projects * Reviewing drawings, specifications, and tender documents * Producing material take-offs and labour calculations * Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing * Identifying risks and opportunities within tenders * Working closely with the contracts and commercial teams * Attending site visits where required Requirements * Proven experience as an Estimator within the roofing industry * Strong knowledge of flat roofing systems and pitched roofing * Ability to interpret drawings and specifications * Excellent numerical and commercial awareness * Proficient in Microsoft Office and estimating software * Strong communication and organisational skills What’s on Offer * Salary up to £60,000 depending on experience * Long-term career opportunity with a reputable contractor * Supportive and growing team environment * Opportunity to work on a wide range of roofing projects If you have estimating experience within flat and pitched roofing and are looking for a new opportunity in Essex, we’d like to hear from you
